Building Self Confidence in Weekly Drama
The campus is very alive with classes 8am to 4pm weekdays and the picture shows students living fully despite cerebral palsy. The two boys are among the four youngest at LaValla School – 8 and 9 years old. They featured in a Friday school assembly play recently and, despite difficulty with body movement and talking, remembered their lines and over-acted every move to produce a lot of prolonged laughter for staff and students. The play was in the Khmer tradition of a fable about the two poor boys who did not let a rich merchant, in bling, overcharge them.
